PROTECTIVE HEALTH SECURITY MEASURES AND GENERAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT COVID-19

1. What are the conditions for a cancellation of a reservation in case of an officially ordered lockdown and closure?
If there a new lockdown and an associated official closure have been ordered and installed, the following conditions for cancellation of your reservation may apply: Bookings that are not being followed by a room occupation will be refunded at a rate of 100%. For bookings that have already been followed by a part time room occupation, the refund applies to overnight stays that have not yet been consumed. Any down payments already made by the client will be credited for future stays at our venue as a voucher.
 

2. What happens if Covid-19 infects me before my arrival or if I am confined in a state-ordered quarantine?
Cancellation free of charge is possible in the event of an infection by Covid 19 disease or of a state-ordered quarantine. A medical certificate with the Covid-19 test must be submitted within 24 hours by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by letter to the following address: Hotel Parsenn, Promenade 152, 7260 Davos Dorf. We would also need a quarantine certificate from the doctor or the respective ordering authorities.
 

3. What happens if I feel uncomfortable during my stay or if I have had contact with someone who may have been infected?
In the case of a suspicion of infection we ask you to immediately avoid further contact with other people and to inform our reception team. A reimbursement of accommodation costs is unfortunately not possible in the event of illness. FYI: corresponding travel insurance usually covers this case. Please check with your insurance company in advance to cover possible costs for accident or illness abroad.
 

4. What reimbursement will I get when the borders to Switzerland are closed?
For visitors who are arriving from abroad and cannot enter into Switzerland due to the official closure of the borders and / or are listed on the BAG (Federal Office for Health) list, the following conditions apply: Bookings that are not being considered will be refunded at a rate of 100%. Any down payments already made by the client will be credited for future stays at our venue as a voucher. However, please note, that we can only take into account your actual country of origin, in which you have declared your permanent residence. If, for private or business reasons, you are in a country that is not your country of origin and you are therefore unable to travel to Switzerland, the cancellation of your stay will be refunded according to our official business terms and conditions or the conditions that are published on our online platforms.

The following cancellation conditions apply for reservations made by direct bookings:
From December 22nd, 2020 till January 3rd, 2021: Cancellation 0-14 days prior to arrival: 100% of your booking reservation
Otherwise: Cancellation 0-5 days prior to arrival: 100% of your booking reservation
 

These conditions apply exclusively for direct bookings via the HOTEL PARSENN, via email, telephone or the hotels own booking platform.

 

5. What happens if the canton of Graubünden is placed on your country’s list for mandatory quarantine after your returning home?
Since it is generally possible to travel and arrive in such a case, there is no entitlement to a refund. We therefore recommend that you take a travel insurance to be on the safe side. However, 100% of the cancellation amount to be paid will be credited back to you as a voucher for a future holiday stay at our hotel within 1 year.
  

6. What happens if your country of origin is placed on the list of countries for mandatory quarantine after entering Switzerland?
Since it is generally possible to travel and arrive in such a case, there is no entitlement to a refund. We therefore recommend that you take a travel insurance to be on the safe side. However, 100% of the cancellation amount to be paid will be credited back to you as a voucher for a future holiday stay at our hotel within 1 year.
  

7. Is there a mask requirement in the hotel and in the canton of Graubünden?
As of October 17, 2020, in the canton of Graubünden publicly accessible indoor spaces such as shops, shopping centres, post offices, museums, theatres, cinemas, libraries, train stations, hotels, administrative buildings, places of worship and restaurants and in certain areas of educational institutions it is obligatory to wear a mask. Wearing masks is also mandatory in public transport, i.e. in buses, trains and mountain railways. Children before their 12th birthday and people who can prove that they cannot wear face masks for special reasons, especially medical ones, are exempt from the mask requirement.
  

8. Does a health security protection concept exist and what does it consist of?

9. In general, how is the breakfast self-service buffet being organised and what should be taken into consideration?

As usual, you can help yourself to the rich breakfast buffet of our hotel. Of course there are also a few new rules here, which we kindly ask you to consider. The breakfast buffet is now only accessible from one side. Thus please follow the direction markings on the floor for this purpose. At the entrance to the self-service buffet we ask you to disinfect your hands and then use your own scooping utensils, which are being offered at the beginning of the buffet. With the scoops you may help yourself to compose your own delicious breakfast. At the end of the buffet service, please return the used scoops back to the silver tray.
  

10. What distances have to be observed in the restoration rooms?
The minimum spacing between foreign persons (not of the same family) of 1.5 m has to be observed in all of our restoration rooms. Where necessary, we have installed Plexiglas walls to protect you from viruses in the immediate vicinity.

 

11. How are the entrance to the hotel and the Check – In being organised?
Please only enter our hotel equipped with a mask, as prescribed by the BAG. Maintain the necessary distance of 1.5m between foreign persons. Disinfect your hands regularly at the provided stations at the hotel entrance / reception. The HOTELLERIE SUISSE health security protection concept applies in all our spaces. 12. About the employees of the Hotel PARSENN
Our employees are trained for and informed about the latest Covid-19 measures and regulations of the BAG. Our employees all wear black masks provided by our company. Our employees are obliged to change their masks every 4 hours.
